Q: Are voice commands a conversational assistant or a fast, reliable "vocal remote."?

A: The DriMe® Elite offers fast and reliable command-and-control voice recognition system that allows you to operate your Airer through spoken instructions. For example, “turn on the UV light”, or “turn off the heater”. Unlike Voice AI, which is best for general assistance and more complex tasks, DriMe® airer only requires simple and precise commands to be operational.  Voice AI often requires cloud processing for nuance, and it has higher risk of misinterpretation in noisy rooms, whereas the voice commands can work entirely offline and faster, it is also much more reliable if your keyword is spoken clearly.

Q: Will the Elite respond to TV voices or other household conversations?

A: No, Elite only responds to the predefined voice commands, focuses on voices in the laundry area whilst filtering out sounds from other rooms. That said, when you instruct the airer, you need to ensure that the surrounding is relatively quiet so your voice can be heard clearly.

Q: Can multiple people use voice control, or does it only recognise one voice?

A: The Elite can respond to any user as long as the Elite receives precise and clear commands, based on the list, which covers most of the features.

Q: Are voice commands genuinely useful or just a gimmick?

A: This depends entirely on your situation. For most users, voice commands provide genuine daily convenience: no fumbling for remote controls when hands are full of laundry, no unlocking phones to open apps, no walking over to press buttons. Q: Can I disable voice commands recognition if I change my mind?

A: Absolutely. Voice recognition can be disabled entirely by pressing the sound button on the remote control., reverting the Elite to Pro-equivalent functionality. Likewise, you can enable this function by using the same button when you want it again.

Q: What happens if voice recognition fails or stops working?
